Suellen Warren
BOARD CHAIR
Suellen Warren was invited to join the Sanctuary Counseling Board of Directors in 2019. Suellen has served Independent Presbyterian Church for many years where she has grown to appreciate caring for others in ministry. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the IPC Foundation. Suellen brings her gifts of administration and organization to the Sanctuary Board. She is a graduate of Ole Miss and has called the Memphis area home since 1992.
Murray Garrott
Ben Dickey
Ben Dickey is originally from Tipton County, He moved to Memphis 17 years ago. He graduated from Memphis Theological Seminary with a masters certificate in addiction counseling. Ben has worked in the behavioral health field for over 15 years now. He is the Business Development/Treatment placement representative for Woodland Recovery Center and its parent company Bradford Health Services.

John May
Tim Johnson
Tim Johnson is the Lead Pastor and founding pastor of The Avenue Community Church in Memphis, Tennessee. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Tim developed a heart for ministry while serving at his father's inner-city church, Mt. Hebron Church Ministries. A graduate of Bucknell University, where he was a Division I football player and campus ministry leader, Tim has devoted his life to discipleship, pastoral leadership, and serving multi-ethnic communities. He previously served as Executive Pastor at Mt. Hebron and Executive Director of SPARC Church Planting Network. Tim is passionate about shepherding people and cultivating communities shaped by the life of Jesus.
Taylor Park
Taylor came to First Evan in 1991 as Youth Pastor. Since then, he has served as Family Ministry Pastor, Young Adult Pastor, Church Planter, Counseling Pastor, and most recently as Executive Pastor. In April of 2025, Taylor stepped down from the Executive Pastor role to be able to devote himself more fully to pastoral care and counseling. He is a graduate of Southeastern Bible College where he met his wife Debbie, who is the church receptionist. They served ministries in Chicago, IL, and Birmingham, AL, prior to coming to First Evan. Taylor and Debbie have six children, five of whom are married, and eight grandchildren. In his free time, Taylor enjoys wood turning, cooking, and being “Pop” to the grands.
Holt Hall
A lifelong Memphian having graduated from Memphis State University with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and an MBA from CBU. He is currently Vice President, Chief Deposit Office, for Bank3 in Memphis. Previously he served as Director of Operations and Director of Development for Westminster Academy for seventeen years.
He has been married to Kay (Doler) for forty-three years and they have three daughters and sons in law. They live Eads, Fayette County, TN.
